Вичерпний опис відео: To some, the Audi RS5 Sportback is a consolation prize for not getting the RS4 Avant in the states. To others, it’s a usable five-door rocket sled for all weather.

The RS5 is great, and all — so long as you don't mind paying for an Audi, and driving something that looks like a VW — which in turn, also looks like a Hyundai.

Not sure I’m liking that color. Especially in 5 or 10 years. It’s going to look dated.

RS- cars are a terrible value. Slap a mild tune on a Stinger and you've got the same form factor making the same power for less than half the price. Sure interior quality is prob only 50% as nice and the handling maybe 75%, but is that worth 50 thousand dollars extra?

One more car lost to turbo. Naturally aspirated V8s are an endangered species. #SAVETHEV8

They look more and more like Volkswagens with every model. That one screams MK7 Jetta lol. If you want a real performance car buy a Porsche or Bmw.

These can be amazing cars if optioned carefully. Starting with visuals the Black Optics package is amazing for $1500.The Carbon package seems like a waste at $5500 (4k more) just for a carbon lip and spoiler.I would personally skip the upgraded leather and go for the Alcantara. It stays cooler in the summer and doesn't get hard in the winter and I've had it on both of my S4's with no regrets. The next option really would be the Assistance package… It adds a small amount of weight and I've had it cut in on my B9 S4 several times that almost lead to 5 separate crashes, even when being extremely attentive. Radar cruise (when it doesn't drop anchor at 65mph for no reason) is nice, though. A sport exhaust and adjustable suspension seems reasonable for $3350. I don't consider $20 worth of red paint on the brakes a feature.Skip the carbon ceramic brakes unless you really need the 174 MPH top speed.100% add the B&O sound system for $995Skip the dynamic steering for better, more consistent feedback. Skip the heated steering wheel because it's more slippery, is round (as opposed to flat-bottom) and is a generic wheel from the A4. AudiCare for a thousand bucks… Hmm… Audi gives you one free service at 1 year/10k.You'd have to bring it to them 4 additional times, each being $250 on average to make it back. My B9 S4 (which does AudiCare but it was $500) averages $120 services (covered) and I can't imagine the RS5 costs twice as much (?). Audi no longer covers tire rotation with AudiCare and instead nickle-and-dime $30 for the service (the $120 includes $30 for a rotation). Audi used to cover an entire brake set replacement which made it a no-brainer on my 2014 B8.5 S4 @$800. They no longer explicitly cover brakes other than inspections. Also having to go through 5 total services means buying it with a lease is a waste of money. So I'm at $80,995 with the Dynamic package or $81,345 with the driver assistance… $84,695 with both.
So that's a full 15-20 grand less than the model shown with minimal compromises. I think this is a MUCH better car at 81k than it is at 100k.

Ppl buy those cars mostly bc of emotions. Strange that manufactures downsized engines from 8 to 6 cyl and this is 100% still ok, no biggie. Its is not important for me, i like v6 more than usual, non-flat plane crank, v8, but for You, Americans….? Excuse my English.

Mike really does a great job of summarizing it all at the end. It definelty has its downs and ups. Exhaust sounds horrid from that V6 and then there is that understeer. Hate current Audi. Soul less vehicles for people who cant drive

Manufacturers need to understand this- NOT EVERY ONE WANTS SILVER, BLACK, GREY, etc. Bring GREEN and YELLOW and ORANGE back that don’t look like highlighters thanks we are adults.

Hard to make a V6 sound good! Are you joking!!!! Have you seen any videos of the Lotus Exige 430 CUP? So would you have the RS5 or a Alfa Gulia QF? That's my current dilemma???
