Don't buy the 2019 Jeep Wrangler: One star on safety. Independently verified by ANCAP and Euro NCAP. ANCAP released the rating a little over a week ago, on 28 May this year, following the 2019 Wrangler's Australian release in April. In the frontal offset test, the connection between the A-pillar and the trans-facia beam was damaged in a way that indicated the structure would be unable to withstand higher loads. Similarly, deformation of the footwell showed that the structure had reached the limit of its integrity These agencies are pretty good at independent crash testing. For people complaining about road noise. 1. the soft top. 2. the tires. Honestly if it had an insulated hard top on it and different tires, it'd likely be a great deal quieter. .02

Man I'd like to get a jeep as a daily for Canadian winters and utility but the amount of road noise in these things at speed is absurd. If you go the Cherokee route, the 2+ year reliability of anything Chrylser makes these days is highly suspect. Just can't bring myself to do it. It's a shame, cause the 4WD capabilities are superb.
