The salesman basically showed me a street circuit with very quiet roads just outside the dealership, few laps of that to get a feel of the cars handling, prior calculations on the cost of the car + its insurance costs (first car, young driver = high insurance on most cars), and I was sold on it, paid for it that day, they set it all up for pickup overnight, still have it to this day. Sadly that dealership shut down, i'll have to track down the salesman, see if he got a job at a new dealer so I know where to go once my insurance says I can have faster cars.

Friends story: uncle said he was taking me to get ice cream as we were driving i was looking out the window he was about 14 yo when it happened but my friend took french lessons with me in school uncle awnsered a phone who was speaking french the uncle tried to traffic my friend my friend knew what was going on he waited till he knew where he was the yeeted himself out the car and ran to my house only about 2 blocks away uncle wasnt found after that sj we know but he was ok

My first car was bought from a used car dealership. 91 Cadillac DeVille. When we got in the car he rolled down the window and immediately nailed it, hit about 80 in a 55 before he slammed on the brakes and slid it around a turn and went back to the dealership. I sell powersports equipment. I had a VERY VERY limited edition Can Am Outlander Max 1000xt that a gentleman ( I use this term loosely ) wanted to take for a test drive. I live in Canada, and it was about -30 celcius outside. My 5 acre test field was under 2 feet of snow. I had meticulously been taking units VERY SLOWLY around our test field to create a track. I knew where the hazards were, and made sure to avoid them. This is not a cheap machine. It retailed for about 18,000.00. It had Air suspension, Heated Grips, Thumb warmer, 3 way power steering, Winch, bumpers, full skid plate… This thing was the mercedes of the ATV world. No other manufacturers could even touch this thing…. They sold themselves. If I had one, somebody wanted it. So the guy comes out. I GIVE HIM A 10 MINUTE EXPLANATION. NO SHIT 10 MINUTES. I tell him to stay ON THE TRACK I HAD MADE. There were hazards under the virgin snow, and this wasn't some used 500 sportsman… This was my flagship unit. THANK GOD I ONLY GAVE HIM THE LEARNING KEY. It was governed. I am convinced the only reason this fucking guy is alive is that I denied him the full power key that day. The dude jumps on to this unit, and proceeds to fucking punch it right across the virgin snow. We sell dirtbikes too, and our test field had whoops and shit. The way the wind had carried the snow it all looked flat. This fucking idiot whiskey throttles and hits the whoops unexpectedly. His rear wheels were above his fucking head. On my as yet unsold Limited Edition ( you are lucky to get one per year ). I. Lost. My. Shit. I took his keys back and told him we were done here. He tried to lowball me on the unit. I told him he is lucky I don't charge him for the damage he inevitably caused that thing. I wouldn't even throw in a 50.00 helmet. He went all the way to Bombardier to complain about how I wouldn't give him a deal on the machine. He said I was hard to deal with, and made an enormous stink. My Bosses, My territory Rep, and my national rep all heard my side of the story and agreed that HE FUCKED UP. Then. They were honest with me. They told me that everyone that matters is going to know that you did everything right. But we are going to give this guy a deal because he complained. I put in my notice and left 2 weeks later. This deal turned me off, and I honestly still haven't recovered mentally yet from how it all went down. I am still in very good standing with the dealership I left. I later found out that this guy was in there the week I left looking for warranty work on an item that he broke with his own fucking idiocy… Every now and again, over beers, they remind me that I was right, and we should never have sold to this fucking guy…

20 year old me got bored before work one day. So I went to the subaru dealership to look at the new BRZ. Sales guy started talking to me. At some point I mention my Kart Racing experience and he asked me if I wanted to go for a test drive. I said yea. As we left the lot I asked: "How comfortable are you with speed?" Him: "Hehe, Gun it!"I planted the throttle, all 200hp making me go nowhere kinda quick…those cars aren't fast. First corner the salesguy is hanging on laughing. Second corner: "Slow down! This is a sharp corner!"Flick right, off the gas, hard left. Tail slides sideways and I punch the throttle. My one and only slide in a new car. "Scared me there Ian, wasn't expecting that!"I drove normal traffic speed after that. Then I left the dealership in my 10 year old Toyota Hatchback. Fun times

Nothing too special but when my cousin was test driving a Mercedes Benz AMG, he was in a long lane of traffic so he split into the second lane, reached a high speed and pulled the drifted fully around the lights and you could hear the tires screeching and the noise of the engine as it accelerated, the car dealer actually found it funny and my cousin ended up buying the car 🙂

This is my time to shine. My driving school has went through some shit. We had a driving instructor ( who owned the school) that gave lesson while being drunk af! He had a water bottle that he filled up with vodka and he drank it while instructing! He only had to stop being an instructor at the 2nd time he was found out by the police.

This literally just happened to my friend not three hours ago. He works at a dealership known for their bowties. A couple came driving up in a 10-year old Ford Focus. It was in fairly good condition with no faded plastics or paint, but it was still an $8,000 car. Nonetheless, the couple wanted to check out Camaros, so my friend obliged. Well, my friend and the husband knew A LOT about motorsports, so much so that it made the husband say, "You know, what's the fastest thing you got?" All fun and games, my friend proceeds to show them a $130,000 car that was parked in the showroom. After my friend gave him a briefing of the vehicle, the husband and wife were interested in getting numbers. Dumbfounded, my friend walked up to his sales manager, and both of them were thinking that this was all a show for the wife. However, when my friend returns with the numbers, the husband wrote out a check for the total amount. The check cleared. My friend made a healthy commission today.

What I learned from this. You add in false stories. Learn in as many other languages as possible the words kill, shoot, stab, murder, ect. Basically any word that involves your death.
