Here it goes. The car here is symbolic representation of bollywood industry. Initially shantanu seems to be content with his simple living high thinking life style. He considers himself to be successful. But the story portrait the view of society of being successful means lavish life style. The character of sahil represent the so called stars that govern the bollywood industry. Even director seems to be sugarcoating the actor in order to get his dates. These superstars are arrogant and influence the working of industry. They treat newcomers as shit. The ego of this star is higher than the director scriptwriter and other co star. That's why sahil promises ashutosh that he would make impossible for him to work in bollywood. When shilpi leaves ashutosh eventually he felt that in order to make shilpi happy he has to become same as these so called star. He leaves the attitude of working hard and facing difficulties and becomes egocentric in the whole process. The public love for superstars have been depicted here by not their acting skill but due to their lavish life style. Thus no one recognises shantanu in sahil's car. And the whole attitude of shantanu is as full of swag as sahil in the last scene of the story. So the story tells that a simple intelligent actor adopts the path of arrogant superstar eventually to please his sole love his life. He kills the inner actor and a good man within one self and adopt the lavish path to success. Irony of life.
