As an eighteen year licensed Ford dealership technician, it's worth noting the Coyote 5.0L V8 has gone to direct injection on the F-150s for 2018. I'm pretty sure it should be the same for the 2018 Mustang so equipped.

Nice review AlexWith the money i saved on my 2017 i had you guys install a blower and all the other shit it was lacking. Give me wood everytime i take it out. At 740 hp later i am still way under the cost of a 2018..

Nice review of the 2018 Mustang with the M6. I currently have a 2014 Mustang GT with the 6R80 soon to be modded still stock. Looking to buy a 2020 going back to stick of course. 🙂

I could hear that you were doing it, but I haven't heard many people specifically mention that ALL 2018 manuals come with the ability to no-lift-shift at WOT. They added it for the ecoboosts to be able to stay in boost between shifts, but they kept it for the v8's as well. That's something more people should be spreading around and letting everyone know.

How would the 18’ intake manifolds compare to the gt350 manifolds and would they be available for sale for the 15-17’s ?? makes me wonder i think there is someone out there trying it out and it fits like a glove on the 15-17 gen 2 coyote..And although everyone is loving the 10r80 think if i make the switch in a few years i would go for the 6spd no doubt..

You didn't think the clutch was too light ? … I have a 17 went from a 14… First thing I noticed was the clutch was very light. Nice .. no BS review, I shared it on Facebook.

Man I picked up a 17 in September the more I watch stuff on this 18 I almost feel like I should have waited. I do love my car it's a bolt on car with a VMP tune so she gets down but 460 to the tire is hard to get out of my head . Guess a tvs will have to be on my list to keep up

Thank god finally. Someone who drives manual, driving a manual 18. Too many auto guys reviewing the auto as if it's more to it than press the gas and go. Lol. Most of these guys that review the manual can barely even drive it let alone explain the intricacies as far as gear ratios, clutch feel, and overall how to get the most out of a manual. They usually get in the manual and automatically start talking about the 10 speed. Lol. Clowns. I'm glad u keep it straight forward all the time. That's why I take your opinion seriously.

Base model GTs are a great value..Esp if you plan to add parts like I did on my Base 15. Save that cash for boost !
