Elon is changing everything we though a car is and what a key is. I do not care what any one says. A basic car with manual everything with a 15" screen is bad ass.

I'm rooting for Tesla, I hope it will teach BMW a lesson in electric cars. BUT for 35k you got to step it up in interior quality, panel gaps and interior equipment… you have the feeling that you are sitting in a budget car

I honestly think having nothing but a massive thouchscreen in the middle of the dashboard is unsafe. It takes your focus away from the road and makes you easily distracted.

well if anyone in 10-20 years will complain how boring non-alive cars are (those of 2020-ies) and will nosalgicly remember cars of 2000's – those will have to thank Mr Musk for it. I can not understand people hyping Model S as an exciting looking car. I don't think by removing everything from the interior without changing the concept of it You can make a luxurious product. It still looks like a basic trim level of a product – lines are there (like on the door panels) like some functions are foreseen there, but all the shapes and lines have no reason and make no sense. Faceless and I am sorry – ugly product.

I think he intentionally took away the speedometer to allow people to not focus on the road so the autonomous driving eventually take over

Don't like the idea of moving everything (windshield wipers, climate control, etc) to a touchscreen. In a pouring rain, the last thing I want to have to do is look at a screen on the dash.

This Tesla guy seems like he's just some guy Musk knows and gave him a job. The dude doesn't even know the basics about the car. What's with the guy in the back getting all excited about fold down cup holders? Every car has back seat fold down cup holders.This is the worst demonstration I've ever seen from any car manufacturer. Maybe this is why many don't believe Tesla actually knows how to make cars. Honestly, I was a Tesla fan and seriously considers the Model S 100D for 130k fully loaded. Then I spoke to owners and they said the cars break down constantly. One guy told me he was making a left turn in the middle of an intersection and the car completely died while he was looking straight at oncoming traffic. They need to get the production side down and stop running the business a like PayPal fraternity party.

The big screen makes it look like a prototype or something unfinished. It was like: Hey, you know what, why don't we just put a big screen with everything showing on it (because we are too lazy to design the dashboard)…

Tesla's are the LEAST RELIABLE cars sold in AMERICA. They are also the LEAST GREEN. They exist ONLY because of massive subsidies for wealthy buyers. Musk is the egocentric Pied-Piper of Eco-Idiots who believe all of his BS. Do your own research and educate yourself!

I CAN BE 100% WRONG, but i think the card being used as a key is just for test/demo models to manage who can use the car. Think of it as an access control card for a hotel or your place of work.
